I guess for me, because I understand the flo, I'm the narrator behind telling MY story, and I bond with words, I get it. But how do I begin to explain to you my passion? Where do I begin to help you understand that poetry is outside of the literary box we have put it in? It's not complex-it's really straight forward. Poetry is a expression of how you feel, what you've been through, where life has taken you, and how far you've gone to preserve your identity, peace and sanity. Poetry should be outside rules with little parameters cause how can rules set for how I flo, or explain in depth what I want to articulate? Why should my A rhyme with A, why use the word "pain" when I can simply help you to Invision what that feel like? why use capital letters at the beginning of a sentence just because we were taught that iT is thE way We are suppOse to DO it? Why write on a
straight
line just
because our EnGlish
teacher said we
had
to? ☺ This is why poetry is more than just literature. It's YOUR story written however YOU want it to be told ♥
